The 175° wide-beam micro-prism optics help distribute light across the illuminated surface, supporting smoother and more uniform brightness in channel letters and advertising light boxes.

Reference Depth-to-Spacing Ratio

D : P = 1 : 3

D = Installation depth

P = Module center-to-center spacing

A depth-to-spacing ratio of 1:3 means that the module spacing is three times the installation depth. This is a recommended optical ratio based on laboratory reference conditions. Actual module spacing should be verified according to the sign structure and required illumination.

Important: DC12V is the default configuration and DC24V is optional. Use constant-voltage power supplies only. Do not connect the modules to constant-current power supplies. Do not exceed 20 modules per chain. The total number of modules connected to one power supply must also comply with the power supply rating and wiring design.

Installation Recommendations

1. Clean the inside surface of the sign or light box using a suitable surface cleaner and remove dust, oil and debris.
2. Peel off the protective liner from the 3M adhesive tape and mount the modules. Use suitable pan-head tapping screws compliant with DIN 7049 or DIN 968 where required.
3. Drill wiring holes at the bottom or side of the sign box and use suitable grommets to protect the wires.
4. Connect the modules in parallel using suitable waterproof connectors. Do not exceed 20 modules per chain.
5. Cap all unused wires. Do not loop the module chain to create a closed circuit.
6. Run the DC power supply wires to each channel letter or light box and connect them to the module-chain input. Match the power supply voltage to the selected module rating.
7. Observe correct polarity. The red/white wire is positive (+), and the white wire is negative (-). Check the actual product markings before connection.
8. Complete the AC power connection to the power supply only after finishing the DC-side wiring.

Storage & Maintenance

• Disconnect power and allow all modules to cool completely before maintenance.
• Do not pull on the wires when removing modules.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, pressure, vibration and corrosive or flammable gases.
• Do not clean with thinner, benzene or other volatile solvents.
• Avoid sulfur-containing materials and gases to prevent discoloration and failure.

Installation & Operating Conditions

• Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable electrical safety requirements.
• Do not exceed the specified ratings of the modules or power supply.
• Use constant-voltage power supplies only. Do not connect to constant-current power supplies.
• Make sure the mounting surface can safely support the total module weight.
• Use suitable cables to prevent damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
• Keep modules away from sulfur-containing materials or gases.
• Install in a well-ventilated area and keep the ambient temperature below +60°C.
• For signboard installations, provide adequate ventilation and drainage.
• Do not use metal cable clamps that may damage cable insulation.
• Install modules in accessible locations for future maintenance.
• Avoid touching exposed metal conductors to reduce the risk of static damage.
• Observe correct polarity during installation. Reverse polarity may damage the modules.
• After switching off the power supply, wait at least 5 minutes before connecting modules to avoid damage from residual voltage.
• Do not excessively bend, twist or pull the power cables.
• If smoke or a burning smell is detected, disconnect power immediately and inspect the wiring and power supply.
• Record the production lot number and installation date for future maintenance and traceability.
